The phone's large 160x80 display delivers messaging, call progress, directory access and other content from applications. IETF MGCP v1 and H.323 with H.450 supplementary services are standard protocols supported in the first release. As standards evolve, SoundPoint IP 400 can be field-upgraded, enabling the phone system's capabilities to grow and evolve with the network, maximizing the life of the phone and the return on investment.
