This is really a complaint about the after sales care rather than the actual product, even though it has broken down.
This is a timeline for the repair so far:-

Starting with it blowing all the sockets on the 3rd of December

3rd to 5th of December waiting for the customer support office to be manned; Annoying but understandable!

5th to 10th of December waiting for an engineer to arrive; Couldn't fix because he didn't have the part.

10th to 14th December waiting for an ordered part to arrive;

15th to 17th December ringing the support line re: the ordered part; finding out that the part hadn't actually been ordered; waiting for Fast Track courier to deliver part.

17th to 19th December waiting for the department to be manned (part arrived after 1400 on Saturday 17th){I rang the Customer Care Dept to chase the delivery on the morning of the 17th and waited in vain for a call back}

At present the remedies we have been offered are..
29th December the first date offered for an engineer to attend and fit the part. (given on the 19th)
23rd December the second date for an engineer to attend. (given on the 20th)

I would also like to point out that we are still waiting for a call from a manager at the Customer Care department, this call was requested on the morning 19th of December

I would expect better after spending this much a on a washer - things breakdown, it happens! it's the response that makes you go back to a manufacturer.
