To sum it all up, I paif £469 for this washer dryer and after 18 months it broke! Not just a small repair, the control circuit board needed replacing and the average price was £160. This washer dryer only has a 12 month guarantee and after that Hotpoint do not want to know! If it wasn't for that I would of given a good review but needed to get that off my chest! The washer dryer itself is really simple to use. There's a pull out drawer to the top left with a space on the left for fabric conditioner and on the right for washing liquid. I bought my Hotpoint WDF740 in white from Wilkinsons Direct Plus, as it was on offer for £299 managers special deal of the week- with free delivery! Normally the price of these washers can be anything from £300-£520. In Comet it is £399 online and instore it is £519, £356 Appliance World online, £536 in Homebase, Dixons online £382, £399 in Currys online or £519 in store.
