Dyson CR01 ... just read the report by Nolly on this washing machine. I have been an enthusiastic user of the Dyson vacuum cleaner for a number of years, & I LOVE it! Reason being that I own 7cats, so my home could be moult city without it. I've tried many others but this is the best. So when I heard that Mr. Dyson had invented a washing machine, I was very interested. I've read all about it from every source possible, so I could'nt miss out this report. I don't pretend to own one of these washers at the moment, but judging by the performance of the vac it HAS to be brilliant. I will be saving up!!!! Hotpoint WMA33 Aquarius ... are the days of clinical white household appliances that show up every dirty mark and stand out like vicar in a psychedelic boudoir. Here comes style with the usual features that Hotpoint are renowned for. The WM33 comes in 3 colours, white, beige and silver (well ok, not bright colours but it’s getting there). So you can now make a fashion statement of your washing machine. The buttons and knobs look pretty technical and have options such as ‘rinse’, ‘rinse hold’ and ‘one’ (for washing one item only, which can be handy for last minute clothing dilemmas). General Comments / Advice ... while ago, we purchased a new washing machine and dishwasher made by Whirlpool. We decided to take out a 10-year parts guarantee with them and when we purchased them from Comet we took out a 5-year labour guarantee. We have had a number of fairly minor faults over time where we have had to have engineers out to fix the fault and had never had a problem until the last time. Lets give you a bit of history first that will explain why I am so frustrated, A short while ago we had a burst water pipe in our kitchen, when the plumber was moving the washing machine to get to the pipe, he ripped the lino, he explained that as the lino was wet it ripped easily, but not to w...
