Nolly Dyson CR01: ... have all heard of Mr Dyson, haven't we? You know the man who makes vacuum cleaners that look like they have been involved in an explosion at a paint factory, and that markets the same as the very best thing you can spend a fortune on. Well it seems that now he has focused his attention on the humble washing machine, and is attempting to portray the automatics that we all know and love as no better than a washb...

Indesit WN 850 WG
... Bendix washer eventually gave up the ghost after 17 years of absolutely trouble free service in almost daily use, so it fell to me to replace it, but the price was beyond my means at the time so I had to settle for something less expensive. So considering the use that the new machine would have, I opted for a washing machine with just basic controls and no whistles and bells. After all who needs them? All I wanted is a machine that would wash cool, warm and hot and rinse and spin. I work on the principle that the less complex the machine the less there is to go wrong. I chose the Indesit WN 850 WG because it would fit neatly in the space in my kitchen, had a reasona...

Marcus_T Indesit WDG 1295 WG
... bought my Indesit 1295 W 9 months ago (June 2000) when I moved house. I was attracted to it for a number of reasons: 1. At £300 it was a reasonable price. 2. Being an *eco-sense* model, it appealed to my nature of conservation of resources and minimum power consumption. 3. It is a washer/dryer combined and that is good as I don't have the space to have separate products. 4. Parts (apart from rubber, plastic and glass) have a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee on them. There is not much to say about looks.. it looks like any other washing machine really. Like all modern machines, it doesn't use as much water as the older models so you have to be c...

forrest Hotpoint WMA32 Aquarius
... just bought a house and deciding that the launderette was too far and relying on Mum was a no no, I headed around the electrical shops for a washing machine. Having looked at many a unit and discounted the Dyson which looked like the spare parts from other machines, I set my heart on the Hotpoint. Wow it comes in three colours: P - Polar white S - Aluminium N - Natural (Beige to the rest of us) I settled for the polar which looks the best out of the three as it is clean and still looks a bit spacey. Connection is simple (though I guess most of them are) and it is of average size and fits into most fitted kitchens. So what is good about it? Well first...
