"Give me all your dirty stuff" is a phrase I often find myself uttering. With four kids and a hubby our washing machine is pretty much in daily use, laundry baskets are regularly full to overflowing. Four years ago we were just packing up to go on holiday. I thought I'd wash all the sheets so they'd be clean for return. In the machine they went and an hour or so later I realised that the machine had stopped working leaving me with a machine load full of sodden flanelette sheets. Noooo. Bought a Lavamat machine 3 yrs ago. After 2 1/2 years, heard funny noises but it still worked...busy lives...did not get it looked at. When it stopped working, called local engineer who said it was beyond repair. It was out of it's guarantee. Resigned to the fact that had to get a new one.
