While looking for a new washing machine I decided I wanted one with a large enough drum to take a double duvet, this was a priority for me as I was fed-up taking my duvets every so often to the dry cleaner's, Apart from the effort of taking them there, I was spending extra money when I could be washing them myself. In addition to a larger drum I was looking for a machine with a spin speed of up to 1600. To save a lot of time I checked online first to see if there were any sales on and found that Curry's were having a massive sale. They were selling a lot of machines with a washload of between 5 and 6 kg with spin speeds of up ... Read the complete review

My previous washing machine gave up the ghost completely so I wanted to buy a washigngmachine off the shelf so to speak so went to Currys one Saturday afternoon and came back with this one. As I have Ecnonomy 7 I wanted to make use of night time electricity savings so my main criteria was one with a delay timer. With a family of three teenager girls who change their outfits like there is no tomorrow I also wanted one with a large wash capacity and at 6 kg this does the job nicely. Went to shops to look and was recommended to us. Opted for silver finish and bought online from Currys using discount vouchers for free delivery - £15 off and got cash back via Egg so really was a bargain... Put the thing on and it was making an awful noise so phoned Currys who dispatched man from INDESIT to repair it... Man from ARISTON/CREDA/HOTPOINT/INDESIT said it had been stored badly and was rusty and cleaned off rust and replaced belt... STILL NOISY!!! WHAT???!!!??? Man called Currys and they sent replacement - arrived today... Great washing machine - fantastic energy saving and eco ... Read the complete review

I have this machine and cannot fault it. It was fairly pricey at the time but i thought Ariston- good name lets get it. I got it just as i had a new born baby and put it through its paces. It was on twice a day for many weeks due to the amount of disgusting things babies tend to do. It was so quiet that you could not hear that it was on. It has got louder over time but still quiet for a washing machine. Its great for putting a big wash on as it has a large drum and i love it for the 30min wash it does on 30degrees. I tend to put my husbands work clothes on at that temperature and feel that that is enough. The only thing that i do not like and this may not bother ... Read the complete review
