Advantages: Delay timer, quick wash facility
Disadvantages: Design of washing powder drawer non conventional
My previous washing machine gave up the ghost completely so I wanted to buy a washigngmachine off the shelf so to speak so went to Currys one Saturday afternoon and came back with this one.
As I have Ecnonomy 7 I wanted to make use of night time electricity savings so my main criteria was one with a delay timer. With a family of three teenager girls who change their outfits like there is no tomorrow I also wanted one with a large wash capacity and at 6 kg this does the job nicely.
One of its best features is the quick wash option when time is of the essence and this option is one which is eco friendly and is one one of its features that I use the most often. It also is A rated in terms of energy saving with a 1600 spin speed. The machine is often once twice a day and has been money well spent and so far has never once let me down.
The only niggle I have about it is that the compartment for the washing powder swivels round- and I find the traditional drawer that pulls out easier to clean. However still a recommended buy.
Summary: Overall a recommended buy for a large drum washing machine

- 19/10/09 Handy info but a bit more usage would be good here specifically:
Noise levels
Any variable spin?
How long does the quick wash function last for?
Easy to use control panel?
Price it cost to buy?
Adding some more info here could inform buyers with more usage. |
