Good value machine lastes well some good features (Beko WMA 620 W washing machine 6 KG)

I have had my washing machine for 3 years now and I feel it is very important to share the downside of the machine I bought to stop anyone else buying it and making the same mistakes!

The reasons I bought the machine were that it was white and looked good also, it was one of the cheapest washing machines at £199.99 from Argos with free delivery. It took larger loads 6kg at the time this was a large load! It also offered a good spin 1200 rpm, which mean the clothes, does not come out soaking wet.

The washing machine offers some great features such as half load, quick wash which takes about half an hour and my favourite id the time delay so I can set the machine to start in either 3 hours, 6 hour or 9 hours this is very handy as I can set it the night before or as I leave for work so I can be out as it washes and the clothes doesn't end up sat in the machine for hours. There is also an option for Extra rinse and extra spin. Extra rinse is very handy for the dogs bedding etc.

The machine has a pull out draw for powder and fabric conditioner. The draw does get very mucky and so do the pipes down into the machine but this seem to happen with all machines. The draw can be pulled right out for cleaning if you press down on the catch. The draw comes clean easily.

The problems I have with this machine are the out of balance load control system, which means if the load is not level, the machine will not start. The start light will flash and you have to open the door and balance the load before it starts. This is nearly impossible if you are washing rugs etc, which are heavy, and it is hard to get the weight balanced. This feature drives me round the bend as I have loaded the machine and put in on before leaving the house to come back and discover it has not washed and the start light is flashing! Really annoying. The machine seems to be hype sensitive on the balance of the load and it is really hard to get it equal. I have spent some time sat in front of it swearing because I cannot get the machine to start.

Overall this machine is good my clothes comes out clean and it good condition it is 3 years old and no sign of slowing down or giving up. It was good value for money at the time. The spin on the machine does seem to be quite loud but I think all machines are loud! The machine has some great features apart from the load balance with is horrible and very time consuming. I will try to buy a machine without that feature next time.
