I want a mangle and washboard next. (Beko WMA510W)
Member Name: plumbersmate
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Complete waste of money. After having a really excellent Candy Washing Machine,it finally gave up the ghost and had to buy a new one, much to my disgust. After searching and comparing prices I settled for the Beko WMA510W,which apparently was energy efficient according to the rating on the front of the washer.I was a little dismayed that all of the washing machines I looked at,all were cold fill only.Apparently, this is the way things are unless you want to spend hundreds of pounds which we couldn't afford. On receiving the Machine, like a child with a new toy,I gathered up a a load to do that had accumulated whist awaiting my new delivery.Placing 5 Bath towels and a couple of Tea Towels into the drum, decided to do a 60 degree wash. What a huge mistake.3 hours later the cycle still hadn't finished and in all it took 3 hours and 40 minutes to complete. On opening the door the towels were wringing wet still, and had to re-spin half and then half again.I am willing this washing machine to die,but it still carries on regardless of my hatred of the cheap nasty item. When this finally goes to the scrap yard,I will be tempted to buy a washboard and a mangle which is more reliable and economical, and the only energy they will use will be mine! Summary: Never again will I buy Beko.
