Advantages: mini wash option

Disadvantages: takes forever to do a wash.

My old washing machine 'died' just before christmas, so made a trip to Curry's in search of a new one. With not having much money to spare, I was looking for the cheapest one they had,and I found this one. So I bought it, and when I got it home, was keen to get it up and running, as I had a big load of washing to do.

It was easy enough to install. It just has the one pipe to fit, the cold water one and the drainage hose, and that was me ready to go.

Had a look through the instruction manual at the different program selections, and that's when I realised that it takes a long time for your clothes to wash. The program I would usually use, cottons 40 wash, takes over two and a half hours, which is a long time compared to my old one. The is a mini wash that takes just half an hour, but that only holds 2.5 kgs of clothes compared to 5 kgs on the main wash programs.

The machine itself, looks the part in the kitchen. It's simple to use, and it isn't particularly noisy when spinning.

I guess you get what you pay for, and if I'd known at the time, that the main washes took nearly three hours, I would have looked at another machine.

Summary: a good washing machine if you're prepared to wait all day for your washing to finish
