Cheap and cheerful, but best avoided (Beko WMA520)

I've had two of these now in two different houses, provided (brand new) by my landlords - which says immediately how cheap it is! And, to be honest, that cheapness shows.
Ok, so it does everything you would want from a washing machine in a fairly standard way - it will take a standard-sized load and, usually, clean it. Unfortunately, it isn't exactly subtle whilst doing it. Both machines I've had have been so excessively loud on full spin that I can't hear the television in the next room and the dogs think the world is about to end.
The first one we had, had no reliability problems (I guess we were lucky with this one) but the second one has been hopeless. After about a month it developed some sort of death-rattle that sounded like machine-gun fire, even when I tried a wash cycle when it was empty! Just when I was about to bin it, it miraculously stopped and hasn't done it since.
Unfortunately this isn't the only problem though. It is unbalanced by just about anything - yes, it has a 1200rpm spin, but even a small load of socks and underwear is too much for it to cope with - it shakes to the point where it walks itself away from the wall and I have to moniter it through the cycle and keep pushing it back to prevent it ripping out its own plumbing.
Verdict? Avoid it like the plague, stump up a bit more and get a washing-machine that will actually enable you to leave the house during its cycle.

Summary: Poor qualitym shaky, and noisy. Not worth the hassle.
