About nine months ago when awaking one morning, I went into the wash room to put the days first wash on, but to my surprise and horror our washing machine wouldn't switch on. It was broken and it was because this washing machine broke that led me to find and buy this washing machine I am reviewing today, the Beko WMB71442W washing machine.
This machine is a lovely white colour and I think really looks great, it has a modern and up to date style which will look good in any modern kitchen or wash room, this 7kg machine has high spin speed and a great energy saving performance as well as time delay function. On arrival I was home alone and my boyfriend was out, so I decided to try and get this washing machine going on my own, and I did it easily, this is due to the clear and easy to understand instructions which came with it.
So the Beko WMB71442 has 7kg maximum washing capacity and 1400rpm spin speed, it has cold water fill, a child lock, variable temperature and variable speed spin. It has a delay start option up to 24 hours and a digital display, with a time remaining indicator and sequence indicator lights.
39 minute 30° C cotton wash programme.
39 minute quick wash.
Eco wash cycle.
Reduced creases cycle.
Hand wash cycle.
Freshen up cycle.
Independent spin cycle.
Rinse hold option
This washing machine has settings that are very simple and easy to understand, and something about it which I really love is how much of a good job the quick wash option does, my clothes come out of the quick wash clean and smelling great. So far I have had this washing machine for about eight and a half months and have not had one bit of trouble with it, it is a simple and easy machine to use , whilst providing my clothes with a fantastic and top quality wash.
You can buy this machine from lots of different places but it was Argos where we ended up buying ours from, it cost us £280 which I thought was a good deal on a washing machine as good as this one, it looks great and does a brilliant job, this is a washing machine I think we will have for many years to come and is one I would highly recommend to others.

I recently purchased the beko washing machine as my old one was pretty much built in the stone age and decided it had enough. I didnt think i would buy a beko washing machine as i dont know the brand very well but was persuaded by the sales representative in currys. He said in his own words ' This washing machine is the best for the price!'
When the washing machine arrived i was pretty nervous to get it started as i am definatly not good with electronics of any kind but it was a doddle! The instructions that came with the machine were clear and in english (i know how surprising is that!) So basically its easy to set up!
- clear intructions
- Easy to set up
-Variable temperature and spin speed.
-Delay start option (up to 24 hours).
- Baby clothes option
- Quick wash option
The design is the machine is simple but defiantly looks good in my kitchen with the digital screen. Just looks neat and tidy and easy to use!
The settings on the machine are clear and pretty much tells you the right temperature for the right fabric with no silly symbols that no-one understands. So i put it on a 40 degree wash for cottons put the detergent in etc and off it went. The clothes came out lovely and smelling fresh!
Once you have started the wash there is a timer so you know how long the wash takes that counts down until the wash has finished...brilliant! I also loved the 'quick wash' option as i never have time to wait for a wash to finish and the clothes still came out lovely and smelling fresh! Plus, there is a 'baby clothes' option which defiantly appeals to me as i have a messey 8 month old who loves wearing his food and so i use that for all his clothes and tthey are washed brilliantly with most stains gone!
OVERALL: I have had this washing machine for many months now and have had not one single problem with it. So easy to use and a great price! Its a definite buy!
I purchased this machine because it was on offer at a time my old washer suddenly broke down - Beko is not a brand I would otherwise have considered. For the price and the functions/options it offered it seemed too good to be true. Six months on I am so pleased I made that decision. The main features I wanted were a quick wash, a 1400 spin option, a timer to tell me how long the programme has left, and a time delay so that I can programme it to be just finishing when I got in from work. This machine ticked all those boxes as well as a large door and large load size (7kg).
It was very easy to install and I've had no problems with it at all. It's possible - and very easy - to programme most of the individual programmes to adjust temperature and spin speeds to suit either the needs of your washing or the time you have available. You can delay the start up to 11 hours. On a short wash (45 mins to 1 hour depending on temp/spin) the results are fine, and it even has a super short wash (15 mins) which is ideal for giving items like pet blankets a quick wash when you don't want to use much water/energy.
