Now, I decided to leave behind my old 1000 spin washer which was very old when I moved house for the person who was moving in in our place. I do a lot of my shopping online and it is very important for me to be able to thoroughly research appliances before buying. Cue Argos (www.argos.co.uk). My criteria for my purchase was spin speed, price and efficiency. I also was keen on a silver machine this time around. I particularly wanted a high spin machine. The dials would keep flashing when you tried to turn it on and if you wanted to close the door you had to give it a heavy shove. I m not sure what the name of this washing machine was, all I know is it was silver. I m no expert on washing machines but I will try my best to use some technical terms in this review. ... and I ve never had an issue with shrunken, misshaped or stretched clothes. Considering I tend to do everything on either Cotton 60C or Delicates 30C, I think thats pretty impressive, and makes this a foolproof washing machine. It s not perfect though - it s quite noisy compared to others I ve had in the past, and the cotton wash takes nearly two hours to complete. But for a budget brand like Beko, this is a higher than expected quality of machine. I didn t buy ours, as we rent, but the average price is £250, which I would say is good value considering how painless it is to use.
