Advantages: Cheap to buy, Overall build quality is high

Disadvantages: No ones heard of the brand, Service only through Comet, No support to independent engineers

Big problems with this machine. It was 13 months old when it decided to stop spinning. It contains a single large PCB which has the cam sequencer, ASIC, etc. on. Cost of replacement PCB = 197 pounds sterling. Cost of new machine = You can't get anything in the brand anymore (I also bought a Blomberg frost free fridge 12 months ago) at Comet UK as the Blomberg brand has vanished at Comet during the last 12 months with no satisfactory explanation from Comet. leave alone and buy a new machine, as I had to, with a simple cam programmer and basic latching pushbutton controls. I'm an electronics engineer working for a large UK electrical appliance manufacturer, but the unwarranted complexity of washing machine electronics leaves me cold.
