Advantages: Fast machine and handy coundown timer, not too loud and easy to use
Disadvantages: none
This washer/ dryer was in my flat when i moved in. I didnt actually buy it myself as it came with the flat, but looking at the price tag online I, think it looks like pretty good value for money.
The machine itself is a really good size, I live on the upper floor of a new build block so space is an important factor - this machine actually fits into a cloakroom cupboard in my flat so it is pretty slimlined, yet it holds just as much, if not more than any other washing machine I have had. Another thing I like about this machine is that it is very quiet, when it is on its most intense spin cycle, yes you can hear it but not so much that it shakes the whole flat (like previous machines I have used) or disturbs the neighbours - defintely a good feature for those living in city accomodation.
Regarding performance, the washer is amazing, I only ever put it about 30 degrees if I am washing towels or bed sheets and have had no problems with having to wash things twice. It is very easy to work you simply select what type of clothes you are washing (eg, cottons, wools etc) using the dial on the right, and you can then adjust the temperature and spin speed intensity using the digital buttons at the front. You can also set a drying time so that you the washer will automatically dry you clothes when you have finished - another handy feature which I use when drying bed clothes - I can put it on in the morning before I go to work, and they are ready to be ironed when I get home. There is a little countdown timer which tells you exactly how long your washing will take and how long the drying has been going on for. The cycle I use is 1 hour exactly for a cottons wash at 30 degrees.
The dryer on this product is pretty acceptable, as with all washer/driers, it is not as good as a stand alone dryer but it is by no means bad. The only thing to warn you about is that it does take slightly longer. You are looking at about 2 hours to dry a set of double bee sheets!
This is a great machine - one of the best I have ever used, I really dont have any complaints about it.
Summary: A good buy in my opinion!
