As a tradesman, it's important that I look my best and have clean clothes so I look professional. This is the washing machine for just that. I have yet to have a problem with this washing machine, as it easily washes out just about any stain or mark on clothes perfectly. Like all Bosch products, is is designed to last, and even when there are screws, nails or anything else that is sharp in my pocket that I haven't taken out, the washing machine is able to withstand just about anything without any damage at all. It's also as environmentally friendly as possible, which is good if you're into saving the environment and the machine itself is very easy to connect up to the mains water supply. I would happily use this machine and continue to use Bosch. The only downside is the price, which is quite high. But it's well worth paying for. Just be aware that there are many different shops, both online and high street that offer different prices.
I love my washing machine! I've had it for four months now and its great. I spent ages looking for just the right one and think I've managed to find it. Its got a 7kg drum so I can fit loads in. And its got so many wash cycles I hardly know where to start. There's your standard cotton wash, wool, silk, easy care and mixed load. Then there are specialist washes like sports, dark, power wash, cotton stains, eco cotton. There's a rinse function and a quick wash button. And for all of these you can set the temperature and spin speeds if you don't like the preset conditions. The only wash I've found to be a bit dodgy is the woolly wash where sometimes I've had to spin the clothes again as they were far too wet to take out. I've had no trouble at all with soapy residue on any wash.
There is a nice clear digital display in orange above the door which counts down in minutes. The dial button for setting the washes is large and easy to use. The buttons to set the machine going and to set the temperature and spin etc. are touch sensitive so all you have to do is run your finger over them rather that pushing anything. This is one of my few niggles about this machine. If you are not careful you can lean against these buttons and they are so sensitive you end up locking the machine or putting it on pause when you didn't mean to.
My other niggle is that it insists on telling you when your wash has finished by giving out three beeps. It waits a bit then beeps again, until you have to get up and turn it off. It does stop beeping if you ignore it long enough, but it can get annoying. However, this is small inconvenience when compared with all the pluses.
