Advantages: Reliability, Lack of wear and Tear

Disadvantages: None

Having owned two washing machines which had been different makes (Hotpoint and a Zanussi - not very impressed with the "applicance of science" but that's another story!) the Bosch really stands out from the crowd. Both the Hotpoint and the Zanussi really showed their age after only two years, looking very worn and used however compared to the Bosch which has now been going for three years... well there is nocomparison. It looks like new and we have found no noticable decrease in efficiency. In fact its usage has increased over the years with the birth of both our children. There doesn't seem to be a day go by when the machine isn't on!

Technical spec did not matter to us especially when we bought the machine. It has the usual spin cycles/programs etc. of which we only seem to use one or two. The name said it all and after these past three years there is no reason to think that the machine will not last forever. OK a bit far fetched for a washing machine but as we all know German build quality is respected the world over (and no I am not German or working for Bosch!).

There really have been no complaints and we are so pleased that we bought a Bosch dishwasher and iron as well, AND guess what? Well you knew I would say this, there are no complaints there either.
