Advantages: Quiet and reliable.
Disadvantages: It is Expensive
I was a little bit wary when the sales man down at Comet persuaded me that this was a very good machine. i had always purchased Hotpoints. Even though we had years of good troublr free use from these, i was put off from all the bad publicity, at the time, of them supposidly chewing clothes on a regular basis. So after finding out that buying a washing machine was no easy matter, i took on the advice of the young chap at the shop and bought the Bosch. The first thing that struck me when I put the first load into it, was that it didn`t shake the house down. This is the most quietist machine i have ever heard up until that point. For those of you who like gadgets and lots of buttons to press, this machine has them. Although I wouldn`t say that it is gimicky. There are controls to wash your clothes programs such as Coloureds, Easy-care, Whites, and Wool. Also the usual half-load, heavy soil and delayed start. What i really like is the the fast spin speed can be controlled. You can vary it up to a maximum of 1000RPM. This high speed comes in handy when you realy want the clothes to come out fairly dry, although they can be stuck together. (Nothing a crow-bar wouldn`t solve !!) On the whole I have been using this machine three times a week for the past three years and not a problem yet. Fingers crossed !!!!
