Advantages: big drum - washes more

Disadvantages: no rinse hold button

I suppose it can be hard to rave about a washing machine but if you use yours like I use mine (i.e 24 hours per day!!) then you must consider this machine. The Bosch Maxx received best buy from Which? magazine which is why I bought it really and now I know why. The drum is 30% bigger than other machines which is good news if you have a family - less washing. You can fill the drum to its capacity and it will still clean the clothes very well. The rinse cycle is very good and you get no powder residue on your clothes as with other machines. With a 1100 spin rpm the clothes come out nearly dry which can be economical if you use a tumble dryer too. The machine is quiet and has a self balancing mechanism so that is doesn't bouce around if the wash load becomes unbalanced. It has a quick wash button which can be used for lightly soiled clothes. There is a reduced ironing button which spins the clothes gently during the final spin and doesn't leave them stuck to the drum (good for net curtains). The only drawback is that there isn't a rinse hold button, so you cant soak clothes, but I can live with that. An allround good family washing machine that is reliable too.
