Ok, I admit it. When talking laundry, my green credentials fall flat on their face. My intentions are good, but my results suck monkey rude things. It is true. I do not like laundry. I do not like sorting smelly socks, retrieving sticky sweets from pockets, or pens, or five-pound notes, or precious trading cards. I wash them all, to deleterious effect. I do not like pegging out washing. I do not like ironing. The whole laundry shebang is far too effortful for a lazy person like Murphy. Sod the energy consumption ? I tumble dry far too much. This is why, when my old tumble dryer was deemed too geriatric to ... Read the complete review

After using our brand new tumble dryer for over six weeks now I feel that I have used it enough to write about it. I've never had a tumble dryer before, so this is a whole new product to me, I only have my own experiences to go on and I don't have any other dryers to compare this one to. ~~~Why we decided to get a tumble dryer. We don't really have any drying space in our house (just a couple of radiators) because our only fire is in the living room and drying clothes in front of that would obscure the TV (and we don't want THAT!). So what has a song title by UB40 got to do with a tumble dryer? Well the sequence of events that led up to buying the Creda advance condenser tumble dryer will forever remind me of this song. To begin at the beginning. We were on our third tumble dryer, these had all been Hoover’s which I suppose is not bad for 30 years we had never had much trouble with the machines and were quite happy until something peculiar started to happen, which at first seemed totally unrelated to the Tumble dryer. One morning I went into the kitchen to see both the cat and dog sitting staring at the cupboard under the sink, on examination to my horror I could ... Read the complete review

Our old tumble drier had to go!Since we moved five years ago our drier had had to operate without the venting hose because it would not reach the window or door in our kitchen. This resulted in a wet floor unless the back door was thrown open wide. Our toddler had slipped over once to often! The poor thing (drier!) was also groaning and moaning like a good'n. We needed a new one so I checked out the creda website and found this one. On delivery I found it really easy to move into it's new spot and it really was a case of plug in and go! It has two heat settings ,a timer dial and alarm that goes off on completion of drying. You load the wash, set ... Read the complete review

Creda tumble drier Auto dry 66 I had to put some clothes in my tumble drier today as it was wet outside .Had to shut the door several times before it started this is normal. I though I would tell you about my tumble drier, It was given to me about14 years ago by my next door neighbour it was not new then she had just moved in and was given it by her sister (not new) until she bought herself a new one .Her sister had been using it for several years, so all in all I reckon it must be about 20 years old!(at least) The tumble drier is a Creda auto dry 66 I looked on the creda web site I do not think they make it any more. I cannot find any ... Read the complete review
