Advantages: price, 5yr parts guarantee, easy to use

Disadvantages: door and seal design, poor spin

After my old Hoover logic finally died after 11 years of unswerving good service I convinced myself to look no further than the Hoover Catalogue. With economy in mind I chose the 130E as it had every feature I was looking for - good spin speed, economical, decent load capacity and not too many gizzmos that would be no use to anyone. The price was pretty good to. However now after 6 months use I am convinced that the machine was never tested in a real household environment - sure it works OK - but the spin on my old logic 1100 was better than this supposed 1300 rpm model, in addition clothes are always getting stuck between the door and the rubber seal meaning that they are never spun out at all. In additon the economical use of water means that the drum must not be overloaded as the clothes in the middle will be hardly touched by the small amount of water used.
Overall I cannot complain about the function of the machine - it is quiet and easy to use but niggly little thing could be better.

Hiya and welcome to dooyoo ;)

Sorry for the low rating, but I'm afraid I have to agree it could have done with a bit more information. If you need any help feel free to contact me via my profile page.

Hiya and welcome. Perhaps a little more about the features would be nice. Is it programmable? is there a child-lock? does it have a digital display etc?

Anyway...of f to a good start though - hope you enjoy the site. Don't forget to rate everything that you read here.

They do say that washers aren't made as well as they used to be. My dad owns an electrical and TV shop and even he says that.
