this washing machine is another winner from hoover. it is a great buy . my washing is always superclean. The knobs etc are simple to use. the instructions are easy to follow. There are not too many programmes. I tend to only use 3 or 4 anyway (i think most people use less programmes than are available on machines) . The wool programme washes even my lambswool items perfectly and i am not afraid to wash wool items in this machine. There are good low temperature washes for economy and water saving. excellent rinse capability and spin speeds which are totaly variable and easy to use.Nice large drum for family loads and a great looking machine too sleek styling with nice white finish. quiet in use even on spinning. I also think hoover are great when it comes to service contracts and guarantees This machine has never needed servicing but my prev machine by hoover did and the service from hoover was perfect..
This Hoover washing machine is fantastic!
I used to work for Currys and i made thia washing machine one of my personal favourites to seel. It is just fantastic!
I have never known a good quality, relaible and long lasting washing machine to be so easy to use - it is completely man friendly!
So simple to use - if you don't have heavily soiled clothes and you only have a part load - you can just bung it in, set it at the temperature you want, set the dial to the smallest 'tima saver' load (in the blue) press the time saver button and start and off you go! So so easy! The time saver button is a perfect tool to reduce your water/electricity bills and also gets that washing done super quick! Which makes a refreshing change.
The spin function works very quickly and you could have a quick spin done on a full load within minutes...it is the perfect affordable washing machine for small families and young couples who don't want to spend all of their time faffing with washing..
It is confusing that Hoover named 2 washing machines HNL 6?2. I am not sure what the difference is but I choose the HNL 642 and I am pleased that I did.
It comes with all the lastest specifications, is quite quiet in operation, easy to use and economical with water at 45 litres for a 60 deg full load, which is great for anyone on a water metre. There is a 29 min/ 2kg or 44 min/3kg load wash, both at 40 deg and I seem to use these most often. The spin lets it down a little as the fast 1400 spin is only available separately so that in the winter I have to do a 2nd spin. This is not mentioned in the specifications and comes as a bit of a disappointment.
This machine uses a cold water input only so you have to buy a little plastic cap at B&Q to seal off the hot water supply. The child-proofing is OK but little ones can press the 'Pause' button and halt the cycle.( they cannot interfere with the program in any other way............LOL but maybe YOU know differently.
I've always had a Hoover and, although I'm aware Hoover was taken over, I'm still expecting to have a good few years of trouble-free washing, as in the past; which is why I've rated it highly despite having owned this one only a few weeks.
