Hoover VHD964ZD

had this machine for less than 2 months, was great to start with, but now pours wth white smoke after spin cycle on some wash cycles. not i hasten to add on a huge load or small load.called engineer, was told , there nothing wrong with machine. i have never experienced this problem with any other washing machine before, and have had at least 6. i find this problem more than a little worrying , and will not leave it unattended at all. was quite frightening first time it happened. thought it was goning to burst into flames.
