I have had various washing machines over the years but i can honestly say that this is the best washing machine i have ever bought. The drum is an excellent size and i did not have to fight to get a duvet in. The fact that the whole door opens and not just a little window door is very helpful. However i now seem to get other peoples duvets arrive on my doorstep. The choice of programmes is excellent and i get a lot of use from the 30 minute quick wash and the bed and bath cycle is very useful. I love this machine, its quiet and with having 3 children it gets my washing done alot quicker. it is so quiet and like others have said the child lock is good :P. Plus the drawer is on the inside so my 3 year old cant keep opening it.

A note for some of you..... If you forget to put fabric conditioner in drawer pause the machine and it will unlock door so you can add it afterwards. I am only putting this because when i was reading reviews it got bad review for not being able to do the above

Hotpoint AQGD169S washing machine is a dream come true, such a big drum so quiet and so easy to use. I can fit my duvet in and clean thoughly pillows too. if you really wwanted you can put in curtains. The washing programs are very easy to follow and set then the ease of a child lock button to ensure no problems in spin. you can wash delicates to silk to heavey jumpers also hand washing the speed and spin can be reset changed lower or higher. The soap despenser is inside the door so all the noise from the water going through is contained inside so peace at mind. Comes with a green setting which is economical and saves water. Over all ...
