Yep, another reviewer advising against buying this machine. They might as well have delivered it straight to the tip.
We got this on special offer from comet at half the retail price. At the time we thought we'd found a bargain as it seemed to have everything we needed - including cycles for delicates and hand wash only items
We'd had it about a week when the electrics went.
It took comet 2 weeks to send out an engineer to look at it. The engineer said that we were very lucky not to be standing near it at the time, because the faulty electronics would have killed us as they blew.
We decided to return it to the shop ourselves. As we were loading it into the car, a local drunk offered to help, and not being aware that he was drunk, we accepted his offer. As we loaded it into the car the washer got a small scratch down the side.
Comet knocked £100 off our refund due to the cosmetic damage. Even though we told them what the engineer had said.

- 10/08/08 Dooyoo isn't a complaints forum neither is it a site where you just pass off what's wrong with it. Balance is the key here and if you update it with the actual product use and info, then tie in your experience with Comet, the review will be worth a lot more salt. |

- 10/08/08 I think you missed the point of the review. The machine only worked for a week, after which it developed a fault that could have caused serious physical damage to either myself or my partner. The performance and efficiency don't come into play. If you buy a car and the wheels fall off when you take it on the motorway, you don't care about the fuel economy, you know you've been sold something that's only fit for the scrapyard. |

I can't really rate this any more than SU- it has very little info for any buyer interested in this brand, let alone this machine. If you update your review pls message me.
