Advantages: same 'graphite' design as my fridge / freezer
Disadvantages: ruined my floor!
I was going to write a review to counteract the reviews that have already been written....
As up until 9am this morning my washing machine was fine. Owned it 2 years and never had a problem with it. However, this morning I found my kitchen and hallway under water. So now my laminate flooring is wrecked, only recently had it laid.
Called a hotpoint engineer, but the money they wanted was crazy, so got a local bloke out who fixed it straight away, replacing the pump. £50 all in.
He said these machines are always failing after a couple of years. Great!
However, in general it is a decent machine. A monkey could use it, its easy to operate. And the drying facility is decent too, although a full load wont dry in my experience, but for a few items its decent enough.
As for cleaning the filter etc, it isnt really easy s when i watched the engineer the pump doesnt look very accessable at all.
As it happens we got it for free, brand new, as a relative bought it, then moved in with someone else so didnt need it. But i would pay good money for this.
Summary: not worth the cash! break down

- 15/02/09 Welcome to Dooyoo. A good start here but Dooyoo do need balanced reviews. More info about the actual washing machine/dryer would be good here such as:
State actual final rpm speed available
The wash programs available
Heat settings
Use of controls - easy?
Cost of the actual model?
Then tie in your own experience of its faults. That way buyers get a fairer view of the model in question and get to read about your experience when it washed the floor.
