I have owned this washing machine for just over 4 years. I have to say that i rate the washing machine quite highly. I did have a problem when first purchased, but not sure if that was just the other half pushing the On/Off button to hard! The On/Off button was jammed and would not come back out of its little hole! We telephoned Comet, and it was mended the next day, without any problem at all. From that point onwards, the washing machine has been great. It has worked hard for me over the years and has done all the work without a problem. You do have to clean the washer out regularly, as it can get a little dirty quickly, but apart from that its been great for me!
We did buy the matching dryer, but that has not lasted and curled it's legs up last year, after a few call outs from Comet.
I must admit that i did have to wait for the washing machine, but i am glad i have. I have always bought Hotpoint if i could, as they are reliable, and this washer has not let me down!
