i have had this washer now for about a year i can`t fault it i have had no problems at all in the time i have had it, the rubber round the door hasn`t gone mouldy which is a common thing, the dispenser draw comes out which makes cleaning easy, it has loads of cycles bath and bed, cottons, wool and silk, synthetics, quick and rinse you can also adapt them to suit you you can make em more economical, change spin speed, change temp and the time on some settings what i do miss is my speed up button which i had on my old hotpoint i could press it during a cycle to speed up the finish but i can now only press a time saver before the cycle begins, it has the shhh quiet symbol on it and i`m sure its just a picture cos to me i don`t think its any quieter unless i put em side by side i`d not know. it has an 8kg load size which is fab for a big family i can fit my kingsize duvet in with room, it has the weight distribution feature which stops knocking and moving i can`t praise this washer any higher, i suppose you can get cheaper washers but i like hotpoints and this one came i the colour i liked to match my dishwasher, i think that even though i bough a higher priced washer i deffinitly have gotten value for money
I bought this washing machine last august and so far so good. I especially like the time saver function for fast forwarding the wash when necessary. It has an 8 kg drum so is great for larger items like double duvets. The really great thing about this washing machine is that you can pause the wash during the cycle and open the door to add an item you may have forgotten. Unlike older washing machines where once the water was in the drum that was that - the door would not unlock for love nor money, this machine simply takes around 30 seconds to drain the water to the bottom of the drum and the door lock releases. You can actually see the water or touch it if you please at the bottom of the drum when you open the door.
This machine washes clothes really well and has a digital LCD display which even says HELLO when you press the on or off button. It is very clear to select your option from your 16 programmes and it tells you how long each option will take. I also really like the mini load setting where you are able to wash a small load without having to use a normal cycle programme. I would say the full cycle is quite long at around one hour and twenty five minutes for a full load at 30 degrees for colours but again you have the fast forward button which you can speed this up to around and 1hr which I often do. Also whites come out brilliant and I dont use Daz!
The machine is a nice design and overall I am extremely pleased with it.
