Hotpoint WMA10

I bought this machine 3.5 years ago and now it is DEAD and not worth repairing!. So I am disappointed with this machine. Even if I had bought the Extended Warantee, it would not have helped me, since they only last 3 years! This review is useful to people thinking about buying another Hotpoint washing machines to get an idea how they perform. Well overall the washes have been good, however there are 3 main faults to this machine. (1) A simple 40c wash takes TWO HOURS - this is crazy! I would expect 1hr max. Having vowed never to buy another Hoover washing machine, I recently bought a Hotpoint First Edition WMA10 and have been very pleased with it. For a comparatively modest price it gives a very good wash and is quiet and versatile. In my opinion most machines have a far greater choice of wash programmes than is really necessary and this one is no exception. There are 15 programmes available and I rarely use more than the usual 3 or 4 which are needed for cottons, synthetics, wool and silk.
