As a mother and a wife of a husband who plays football trains in the garden, it has been of the upmost importance in my life to have a properly functioning and effective washing machine. We have only had a few and the latest one we have only had for a year but it is still working perfectly.

First off please don't ask me about specifications and technology talk as I really don't know anything to do with this. I know I will be rated lower for leaving things out but I honestly don't have a clue. What I do know however is that it is very simple to use as it only has a few buttons to press to ascertain which style of washing you need, whether this being cotton or for sheets. With me being a technophobe it must be a simple washing machine if I can use it.

Every week we seem to have bundles of clothes needing to be washed so I was glad when this washing machine seemed to carry quite a load and still function fine. It is fairly quick as well which I quite like, for a 40 degree wash of the main clothes, t-shirts and jeans, it takes 105 minutes which isn't that bad when you think about it. Some of my older washing machines took about three hours; this might give away my age a little bit!

Overall I think it is a simple washing machine that does its job well and continues to do so. The only problem I have with it is if you do not take out the clothes pretty quickly once it has finished they do get a terrible smell to them. I know you get this with many washing machines but this one does seem really bad for it. We paid about £300 when we first bought it which thinking back now might have been a bit over the odds but it works so I won't look back.
