About a year ago i purchesed a brand new hotpoint aqualtis. Its LCD timer is great it tells you everything you need to no. for example if i twisted the progamme it would say white cottons then it would say 1600rpm then 60c. the spin is fantastic but the washing time is completly messed up it would say 2hours then it would suddenly say an hour left which in rinse mode it says 1 minute left when it still have 4 rinses and a final rinse left. Also it is said that the washer meant to give any indication that it is faulty which hotpoint has failed to do. But the washer has played up the spin has completly gone and when we called the repair guy he said we unloaded the machine.I thought that if you overload the machine the bearings will go but the repair man said we underloaded the machine and the bearings went which then cuased the machine not to take of or climb to 1600rpm. Anyways he did an awful job he came and did noting to the machine if not anything he made the machine worst. yesterday when i wanted to a normal wash the washing machine refused to come on it has been 2 days and the machine has still not come on. what a rubbish machine poor service and poor quality.
