What a fantastic washing machine, I bought my Hotpoint WML540G little over 7 months ago and have found that from the washing machines I've purchased this is definately my favourite.

The many different wash cycles and choice of temperatures and spin speeds makes it very versatile indeed.

It does have a quick wash cycle taking around 35 mins which is very useful when waiting for something urgently.

I was pleased to find that it even has a 'baby' wash cycle too, having a baby grandaughter here to stay quite a lot makes this a well used programme, her delicate little dresses and baby coats are always washed to perfection, with the minimal amount of creasing. The baby wash cycle takes a while longer than normal cycles, to preserve the quality of baby knitted coats, dresses and such it doesnt seem to rotate the drum very often, and with the baby cycle the machine actually stops the spin going over around 400 rpm, so even if you have selected the wrong spin speed and have it set at eg.. 1400, the machine will not spin at the rpm its set at... a very good + for the machine!, the wash takes around 1 hour..

Its also very impressive with heavily soiled garments such as my son's very dirty football gear.

The spin speed lets you choose anywhere between 400 to 1400, and the temperatures you can choose anywhere between a cool wash at 30 up to 90 degrees. There is also 3 different Eco cycles which can be used as a very cold wash, this setting I have found to be very impressive.

I have found it to be a very reliable machine, very quiet, versatile and an overall brilliant performer

All in all a very very impressive washing machine which I definately recommend.

I would rate this at 10/10 for convenience and clever design!
