Hotpoint-Ariston WDL540 ... am the proud owner of one of these and it s really handy for both washing and drying clothes, especially in the winter months. It costed me about £400 but I can see already that it s come down in price substantially since then. It has a number beneficial features, not at least the flexibility it gives you while cleaning clothes. you can basically choose a whole cycle from washing it, to pulling your clothes out of the machine dry. I ll explain. For example, I could select how to wash it depending on how I want and then select a drying programme to follow instantly afterwards for a set amount of time. Hotpoint Aquarius WDL520P ... i purchased one of these models when i moved and as i needed a tumble dryer to i thought it would be great as id read reviews on it. the machine arrived and although it is a standard size it looked massive compared to my old one so if you have a small kitchen i wouldnt reccomend as it really stands out in mine.other then this its really good there are plent of cycles to use and all of them are explained in detail in the manual in English! the cycles are all printed on the front of the machine and the capacity is huge. i can fit more than a standard load in. the only draw back i find is that although it does have several drying options they dont all do what they say a... Hotpoint Aquarius WDL520P ... landlady kindly replaced our washer /dryer earlier this Summer after our last one died - after only 18mths use. This new machine is very good. It is very easy to use which is a bonus in our flat as my other flatmates are not ones for reading instruction manuals! There is a decent capacity and a range of different washing programmes. The front of the machine lists the programmes under three titles, essentials, specials and drying. We use the essentials programmes most often as it includes the usual cottons and coloureds washes.
