... have had this machine for about five months now and I find it to be very good. I use it primarily at the weekend and do about four to five loads over the two days, so perhaps that s not particularly heavy use. Regardless, it is efficient and has multiple settings which is useful - it has two cycles that finish in about an hour which are probably the ones I use most often. Hotpoint-Ariston AQGMD149 ... washer dryer has a lot of features including it s large 8kg load capacity, digital display for selecting settings and the fact it is a washer dryer. Firstly it is easy to install although it is very heavy and getting it in to a tight spot in the utility room was not the easiest thing! The installation guides were easy enough and within minutes we were testing out all the various settings. The machine is very quiet and only makes a slight noise when filling up but during the spin it is very quiet. The dial control then lists the programme in the display which requires a lot of initial reading up but once you know what temperatures and spin settings you like you can ... Hotpoint-Ariston WDD960 ... machine starts to have problems within the first few months DEMAND a replacement, it is within your rights! The last one had to be fixed over and over, (days off work waiting in for the repair guy...) then we put up with it for a while, then it was out of warranty and they charge FORTUNES to send the guy out and then add on the cost of parts -aaarrrghhhh. Back to this machine. The outstanding Hotpoint WDD960. It is amazing. The top spin is 1600 and makes all the difference. Cuts out time in the dryer or on the line. Lots of choice on length of wash/fabric/drying etc. You will end up using the same old cycles, but thats ok, it s nice to have a choice. This is a v... Hotpoint Aquarius WDL520P ... only brought the washer drier 3 months ago, since then we have had 2 calls outs and just called them again today because we returned home this morning to find that all the lights were flashing, reset it like they told me and put it onto empty then spin, as it started to spin the drum thrashed fiercly and it started clattering enough to loosen the kitchen unit it was in, when we called they tried to sell us some special hotpoint cleaner (£20 For A Years Supply) and further insurance, and then told us that we had to wait in all day thursday till they could come out, we are a family 2 adults 3 boys on summer holidays ans out of the 3 months we have had the machine it has ...
