Hotpoint Aquarius WDL520P ... Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 is a washer dryer; however I never use the dryer section, so the review will only cover the washing machine side of the appliance. Specifications. The washer has a 7kg drum, 16 wash cycles which include quick wash, delicates, intensive and wool. Unfortunately it s a cold fill only (but I ll mention that later), and its energy ratings is B, with an A for wash performance and a B for spin performance. If you use the tumble dryer, there are two tumble temperatures, and the drying load is 5kg. The washer is a manual dial, as opposed to a digital operation. Hotpoint Aquarius WF321 ... bought this washing machine just under a year ago after my other one died after thirteen months. This machine is really simple to use and all of the functions are labelled on the front, my previous machine from a different brand didn t have this so I had to always refer to the manual when doing a wash that wasn t just the day to day load. The drum is a good size, as is the machine itself, not too bulky. There is no noticeable difference in the noise it makes in comparison to other machines. The downside to this machine is that the quick wash program should according to the manual take 35 minutes, but in reality takes around 45-50. Not that big of a deal but worth noting... I managed to get hold of this for about £365, which I generally would say is a lot for a washer; however, I believe that this washer is worth it. With two young children and a sport-loving husband, I need a reliable, efficient washer and this is it. I bought this about a month ago, and it far outshines any other washer I have had before. When it is in full spin, you can hardly hear it. If you re in another room you don t know it s on. With wash, energy and spin ratings all an A, it is efficient as well as being economical.
