Indesit - no customer friendly after sales service (Indesit G-72C)

Advantages: Cheap (but factor in time off work if it breaks)

Disadvantages: Broke after 9 months and bad after sales service

This machine broke within 9 months of purchase with the motor failing. Indesit are not able to give timed slots for their Technicians and so expect to spend all day (8-6) waiting for someone to call. Also the fault was incorrectly diagnosed on visit one, on visit two the Technician did not have the part with him (even though he knew the machine model and description of problem) and even though I have been inconvenienced they will still not provide a timed slot for fixing this so I'm basically having to take three days off work for a machine to be fixed that is 9 months old - after sales care not acceptable and machine should not fail so seriously so quickly, give Indsit a miss!

Summary: Don't bother unless you have time to waste waiting to get it fixed and you like the launderette
