I have the Indesit Moon washing machine bought a couple of years ago when our old one died. I wasn't overly keen on the look of it (the windowless door seemed odd) but my partner was very keen and it seemed to have some other good features so I was talked into it!!

Since then the looks of it have grown on me with almost every visitor to our house commenting on it and some even asking what it was! We have the version in silver with a blue door although some colour variations are available now I think it was quite new when we bought it and that was all there was.

The main attraction for me was the fact that only has 5 buttons that are used in different combinations to give different wash/cycle types. The shop assistant described it as very 'man' friendly and although it is very user friendly my fantasies of my partner taking over the washing chores has never materialised!!

I particularly like the 30 minute half load wash button which is the one I use most. There are also options for different temperature washes and for delicates. I have washed clothes that should be hand wash only on the delicate wash a few times and they have come out fine.

As much as I like it I have found a couple of downsides (though nothing I couldn't live with):
Firstly it is supposed to have some kind of eco sensor in it that can tell when all of the washing powder has been washed out and should make the wash cycle last longer if it senses any soap is still in your clothes. This does not work and our clothes routinely come out with white blobs of soap powder on them.
Also it is advertised as having quite a high spin rate (which is what I was looking for) but found out after buying it that the spin rate varies depending on which wash cycle you use. So with the shorter wash cycles the spin rate is not so high. Have to say this hasn't really caused any problems though.

All in all though I am pleased with this washing machine and would recommend it.
