It's been one of those months, especially after Christmas when you have no money from buying presents. First of all, last month my tumble dryer went after a good amount of time and as always everything goes in pairs then my washing machine starts making a loud noise and I knew it was on its last legs. This is why, I started to research a number of washing machines to see the current market and I knew that I wanted either a Hotpoint or an Indesit but this one won me over in the end with the settings that looked good and the look of it overall.
This washing machine is very nice it is white and is 850 x 595 x 600mm (H x W x D) which fits perfectly into my kitchen. On the door, it has the Indesit logo and what I really love about it, is that it has a digital display on the front which I've never had before making it look very modern. It has all of the wash settings clearly displayed on the front so that you know what to choose. It then has the wheel on the front which you turn for setting the different programs.
This machine has a great amount of features on it, firstly it has a capacity of 9kg which is a very big amount to what I've had in the past so it fits everything in such as duvets, bedding, big loads. This machine is ideal for families that are bigger and even for anyone as for me it means I do less washes a week now that I can fit in so much more. The machine is claimed as energy efficient, again this is true for a number of reasons, it only fills up the amount of water necessary for the setting so that it isn't wasting water which they call a smart meter.
The machine has a delay timer which is also fantastic this is so that if your electricity is cheaper at night for example you can set your wash with the digital clock to go on at a certain time. The machine will not keep you awake as it is very quiet at 1pw noise level so you can hardly hear it even when it is on a loud spin which is perfect. The machine has a spin speed of 1600rpm so it is a very fast and powerful washing machine it cleans clothes thoroughly and they are always quite dry when it is finished its spin as it has spun them that well.
The machines digital display is nice as to have a clock on your machine is very handy especially if you don't have a clock in there. The machine also has a few other buttons on the front that will come in handy when you are doing your washing. You have an extra rinse option which I tend to use quite a bit, you also have an easy iron feature which just dries clothes that little bit more to make them easier to iron which is quite obvious from the name really.
I wash a number of loads in this machine a week and have never had any real problems with it. It has all features which benefit my lifestyle and really does seem to work very well. The thing I love the most is that it has 16 options for washing, which you can choose a lot from. I normally use the setting for cottons but it has synthetics, delicates and it has sports shoes as an option as well which is very unusual so it means you can even wash your trainers in this machine which is great as not all machines have this and if you play sport a lot it is useful.
The machine is a front loading machine and it always evenly distributes my detergent and my clothes come out smelling fresh and clean. There is not too much more to say about the machine in terms of its features as it pretty much has all been covered. The machine covers pretty much everything most could want from a machine and there really isn't any big faults with it that I have covered. The door locks easily and the machine doesn't take up too much room.
If you want to buy this machine, I got mine from Dixons for £288 which is the cheapest rate around and you can get installation done with them too and your old machine taken away.
