I bought this washing machine when my previous one broke. We were really short on space and needed a machine that wasn't too wide or deep to fit in the spot. My partner loved the look of this machine, it is very stylish and it has a range of features such as:
Ease of operation - 1 button pretty much does it all, it is very simple to use and would be great for someone with sight difficulties or who isn't technically minded
Its clever - it can work out if there is detergent still in your clothes and doesn't stop until it is all rinsed out.
Easy to clean - the detergent drawer is in the door and it is very easy to take it out and clean it.
In my opinion it does however have quite a few disadvantages and if I could choose a washing machine again i probably wouldn't buy it again. The biggest problem for me is that there is not a huge range of programms to choose from, there is no rinse only or spin only programme. The washing machine does have a high spin speed but only on the 60 degree programme, on the normal 40 degree and quick wash programms that i generally use the spin is slower and leaves my clothers much wetter than my previous machine. The final disadvantage is the drum size and this washing machine does not have a very large load capacity.
I think it is great for someone who just needs the basics, wants something very simple or wants a bit of style in their kitchen. For those with a family or needs the additional functions that this does not supply there are much better machines out there.
This is the first washing machine i've bought, having 'inherited' my two previous ones with the houses i've lived in and just loved the look if it. There are cheaper and probably better performing washing machines on the market but this in my opinion is the best looking (i know it's sad to think in terms of looks for a washing machine but come on, its lovely!). It's not only a looker though, it's really simple to use and does everything required. i mainly use the 40 degree wash, but there's also two 30 degree options (one 30 min cycle which is good for things that just need freshening, and one for delicates), and a 60 degree cycle. it's really simple, you just put a liquid-tab directly in the drum, and the fabric conditionder in the compartment located inside the door, press the button of the cycle you want and you're away! It isn't too noisy and the 40 degree cycle takes about 90 mins which isn't too bad. I have heard that the powder tablets leave behind a white residue but i don't use these anyway and in the year-or-so i 've had it haven't had any problems (touch wood). Its great.
This is a really good enviromentally friendly washing machine, it is best used with liquid washing products as on its low temperature settings most powders wont dessolve properly, I think it is a very easy to use washing machine and very straight forward, It is a man and teenager friendly machine with its easy use even they will be able to do the washing. The idea of having the washing detergents and softner loaded on the inside of the door is a really good way to use space, I thought this made it a very intresting feature and also no sticky mess like what you get with other washing machines, I have also found it very reliable and so far have not had any problems with its preformance after 2 and a half years from purchase, It also is a very nice looking machine as it looks different with not having a glass fronted door. I have always been happy I baught this washing machine.
I love my Indesit Moon washing machine! Before I bought it my neighbours complained about how noisy my old machine was! Consequently I never used it between 9 pm and 7 am. With the Moon I have no worries as it's so quiet when in use and we all sleep peacefully!
I tend to use the 40 degree wash with an occasional 30 degree and it performs very well. The powder detergent, liquid detergent and fabric conditioner compartment is attached to the inside of the door so is self-cleaning to a point. Every now and then I need to give it an extra clean but it is nowhere near as much hard work as cleaning my old washer! There is no risk of over-filling with detergent/conditoner as there is an internal 'alert' when the compartment is full which is so cute you just have to see it.
My only gripe is there is no spin only option for hand-washed clothes but that is no big deal for me.
It is such a stylish addition to my kitchen and I love it!
