Rubbish and troublesome machine - don't buy! (Indesit WD10 Washer Dryer)

I bought this machine for a flat I rent out and it has got to be one of the worst purchases I have ever made.

It has not owrked properly from the start when it filled up and flooded the kitchen on a couple of occasions. It was still under warranty at this point so we called someone from Indesit out to take a look. They said they could see nothing wrong with the machine.
Then our tenants complained of getting electric shocks from the drum. Once again we called Indesit and they sent someone out to have a look. They said this was a problem with the electrics in the house and nothing to do with them. So we had the kitchen re-wired.

The next problem was that our tenants reported they could only get the machine to work by pressing two nobs at once, while holding the door closed at the same time and even then, only on one cycle. Indesit came again and found nothing wrong with the machine as they claimed it was working fine when they tried it. The machine continued to play up and got gradually worse until one day, about 6 months later, all of the beaters came away from the inside of the drum.
We re-ordered these, but as our tenants were at work when they were delivered they were promtly returned to Indesit and had to be re-ordered.

The last straw came today when one of our tenants called to say that the machine door was jammed shut with all the washing inside and that the handle had come away in their hand.

I am now dumping this machine and will attempt to find something that actually works this time.

Summary: With a history of problems and denial of these problems by Indesit, this machine is best avoided!
