I originally brought this washing machine because of its large load capacity which is great and because of the child lock facility which is not so great because although it locks all buttons but 1 the 1 it doesnt lock is the on / off button which means my 3 year old is still switching the washing machine off with only 5 mins left to run lol but there is a rinse and spin feature which comes in handy and also a 30 min quick wash which you can add higher / lower temperature to and also rpm which obviously alters the time, there is also a intensive button and a crease care button which again alters the timing but even changing everything to the highest when on a 30 min quick wash it still only goes to 53 mins which cant be moaned at, the only other thing i can think to mention is it is extremely quiet when spinning.
I pruchased this washing machine about six months ago, and havent had any problems with it so far.
I chose this washing machine as the colour matches the other appliances in my kitchen, and also because LG as a brand are becoming known for providing quality goods at reasonable prices.
I bought it from Currys, who matched a price that i had seen elsewhere, plus its always good to try and get them to either deliver and fit it for free, or come to an arrangement with regard to taking the old washing machine away.
Once fitted it is very easy to use, with the display panel being very clear.
There is a large silver dial that chooses which program to use, each one has its own recommended spin and temp settings already programmed in, although if you want you can manually choose which spin cycle and temperature to use.
The machine will weigh the contents in order to provide just enough water which means less waste and cost, then run through the cycle.
There is a count down timer display which shows how long it has left to run, then once it has finished it will turn itself off.
I as happy with this purchase, its runs very quitely and does the job.
