I was recently in the position of having to buy a new washing machine when my old one decided to die a slow and painful (for me) death. I did quite a bit of research on which model to buy, consulting web sites, Which magazine etc. However, the underlying fact was “I need a cheap one that works”. Where I work I am able to obtain certain products at discount and the manufacturer LG is one of them. Their WD-1243H machine had received quite good write-ups so I decided that I would buy one of these. They retail at about £450 and I could get one for £300. Firstly it is a very nice looking machine.
