My husband bought this machine 3 years ago. So far we have had no problems - apart from the fact it doesnt really fit into our fitted kitchen properly due to the depth being a cm or so more than other normal washing machines (we have had to take a drawer and door off a cupboard to accomodate it). We bought this washer as a replacement to our dead AEG, which lasted 16 months. Thought we would test the new Direct Drive technology ! All seems well as we are just into the second week, the machine isn't as quiet as expected and the build quality isn't a match for the AEG. It also has a long wash time and uses quite a lot of water, 75 litres as opposed to 45 on the AEG but it is £250 cheaper. ... Read the complete review
