Advantages: child lock, timer, quiet in comparison to a lot of other machines

Disadvantages: size - depth is greater (due to drum capacity) than a lot of machines

My husband bought this machine 3 years ago. So far we have had no problems - apart from the fact it doesnt really fit into our fitted kitchen properly due to the depth being a cm or so more than other normal washing machines (we have had to take a drawer and door off a cupboard to accomodate it).

However, despite these problems, we love the large load capacity (7kg on cotton wash so we can do bedding and towels all in one wash for example), the timer function and most of all the childlock (our toddler absolutely loves nothing better than fiddling with buttons that make noises - the child lock has saved my delicates being washed on a 95C wash on various occaisions).

We also love the ability to change the settings for each of the preset programs - so you can do a cotton cycle on 95C, 60C, 40C or 30C with a 1200 spin, 1000 spin or a 800 spin. You can also program in an extra rinse cycle or hit the timesave button to shorten the wash cycle time. There is also a prewash function and the possibility to pause the machine halfway through a wash.

I dont find the machine at all loud - sometimes on the fastest spin speed if it is fully loaded you might notice a bit of noise, but I usually only remember it is on when I hear the beeps that signal the wash cycle has finished. Not sure it will last quite as long as some of the more expensive makes (usually German) on the market but I think in terms of value this is very good.

Would I buy another one - yes but I would check it will fit properly into the space in my kitchen.

Summary: timer, child lock and large capacity make this a good quiet machine worth considering
