My leaking LG WM-1290 FHB (LG WM 1290FHB)

Advantages: Fast spin. Large load capacity. Ease of use. Features

Disadvantages: Extremely noisy drum (no good for flat dwellings). Leaking soap dispenser.

I also purchased an LG WM-1290 FHB. Apart from the terrible banging which seems to be a common problem and the fact that it moves across the floor as if to escape (I have wedged a shoe above it so it can't move too far) the problem I have is that water shoots out from the soap dispenser tray throughout the entire washing cycle. Has anyone experienced that problem? I wish now I'd kept our Zannusi which was 22 yrs old and faultless.

Summary: I can just about live with the banging drum but not the leaking dispenser. Avoid this one.
