Miele WT2670WPS

Our Miele wash/dryer WT2670 broke down when it was just 14mths old, some part needed replacing, then 2 years on it broke down again, the washing doesn't dry, faulty fan belt or condenser? Miele states that they last an average of 20 years or 15,000 working hours. If they are so confident in their high quality products and the longevity of them, why do they insure them? We have not registered for this 'Free 5-year parts and labour', as we believed in their products. I purchased this item via the Comet Auctions, having waited a while until my utility room refurbishment was finished and have not been disappointed. The machine itself is so easy to use. You simply turn the dial to the setting you want and for drying, you choose hot or cold heat and select the - or + buttons to increase/decrease the drying time. It has a super 32 minute express cycle which accounts for the majority of washes we do. However even the silk wash is only 36 minutes.
