I purchased this item via the Comet Auctions, having waited a while until my utility room refurbishment was finished and have not been disappointed.

The machine itself is so easy to use. You simply turn the dial to the setting you want and for drying, you choose hot or cold heat and select the - or + buttons to increase/decrease the drying time.

It has a super 32 minute express cycle which accounts for the majority of washes we do. However even the silk wash is only 36 minutes. The countdown feature on the display really helps, as the machine is so quiet when running, that its hard to know if its still in cycle, so the countdown shows you how long you have left to wait.

The quality of washed items is excellent.

I tend to use the drying feature less than the washing to save on the electricity bill, so the 1600 spin helps ensure that items dry quickly even when hung inside.

For those with a water meter - this machine is a must! The machine assesses the weight of the dry washing and calculates how much water is required to clean it, making it one of the most water efficient models around.

The actual initial cost is high, although I am sure the efficiencies in wash time and water counter-balance this in time.

The other negative would be the door latch which is quite stiff even after using the machine for two months. It can look like it is closed, although the inner drum light does not extinguish until the door is fully closed. My elderly parents have had trouble closing this fully, although the machine will not start while the door is not closed.

Overall, it is a fabulous machine that will no doubt save money over time.

Summary: Easy to use, efficient machine which has been worth waiting for.
