... didnt last as long as they used to. The latest Hotpoint lasted just over 2 years and the motherboard had gone,not worth replacing cost wise. Miele WT2670WPS ... purchased this item via the Comet Auctions, having waited a while until my utility room refurbishment was finished and have not been disappointed. The machine itself is so easy to use. You simply turn the dial to the setting you want and for drying, you choose hot or cold heat and select the - or + buttons to increase/decrease the drying time. It has a super 32 minute express cycle which accounts for the majority of washes we do. However even the silk wash is only 36 minutes. The countdown feature on the display really helps, as the machine is so quiet when running, that its hard to know if its still in cycle, so the countdown shows you how long you have left to wa... Miele W 1714 ... years of using a Dyson it died a couple of months ago and I purchased a Hoover 2000W Dust Manager cleaner. It was a great price compared to the Dyson so decided to give it a go. It cleans up extremely well and is easy to empty, bagless. A bit disappointed with edge cleaning but the attachments ie edge cleaning, furniture and pet hair brush work well and are very quick and easy to attach. It has a stair stabiliser for added stability when cleaning stairs, but I have to say I found it a waste of space, a bit of a gimmick!
