My 3025 is less than 2 years old but already needs a repair that will cost around half the original price of the machine. Servis made a next day appointment - the engineer phoned and siad "they're always doing this to me - I'm not even in your area!". Servis pay no compensation for missed appointments - that is until I take them to the small claims court
Having diagnosed the fault over the phone a part was ordered - there was not one in the country and so one was ordered from Italy - as I write this 9 working days agao and it has yet to arrive. Servis have no inventiry system to allow staff to see if the part is actually on its way so 2 weeks after reporting the failure of a fairly new piece of equipment I am no further on getting it fixed. And the Customer Service Manager, Mr Moat does not speak to customers - says it all.
Servis badge engineer Merloni products i.e. they're Indesits which don't have good reliability ratings. Servis don't go out of their way to publicise this fact. I'm almost on the point of cancelling the repair, cashing in the insurance and buying German as Launderettes are so depressing
